Project One: Historic Development

The Washington Flats is an apartment building in Oshkosh WI. Originally built for the Fraternal Reserve in 1917 as an office building, it was then renovated in 2017 using the Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program. This project is an ode to the industrious history of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. All of the historic elements were saved during the renovations such as old bank vaults now being used as pantries. Yet, still these flats still maintain a modern feel; granite counter tops & uniquely tiled showers give the building charisma.
